A classic gun by one of the most-respected Birmingham maker's - William Ford. A lovely gun with 30" barrels and a 15½" highly figured stock. Fences carved in relief with grape and vine motifs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, best bold acanthus scroll engraving on action.

W.Palmer-Jones A Best 12-Bore Boxlock Ejector with Baker Single Selective Trigger
An excellent example of the guns produced by Birmingham gun-maker William Palmer-Jones. This gun features fine scroll and rose engraving on the action with scallop edges and games scenes on either side as shown in the pictures below. The top-lever has the maker’s name inlaid in gold. Much of the gun's original colour case hardening is retained on one of the best single-trigger boxlocks we have come across for some time. The Baker single selective trigger is one of the finest ever designed, known for it's reliability and used throughout the gun trade. The well-figured walnut stock has a gold oval and a best silvers recoil pad fitted, tear drop and chequering is still sharp for the gun’s age.

AYA A Pair of AYA Nº 1 Best Sidelock 20 Bore Guns
The AYA Nº 1 has been the flagship of the AYA line since its introduction in the late 1950s. Similiar to the classic Holland & Holland-style sidelock, the Nº 1 has every hallmark of classic English shotgun design: Purdey-type double underlugs, chopper-lump barrels, detachable locks, articulated front trigger, and optional self-opener. The Nº 1 is engraved in classic Purdey-style rose-and-scroll, and is stocked in best walnut.

A Pair of Rare W C Scott Best Boxlock 20-bore Ejectors
A rare pair of much sought after guns. The W. C. Scott 20-bore best box-lock ejectors were made to commemorate the wedding of Prince Charles to Diana Spencer in 1981 and it is believed were given to a member of the aristocracy. The underside of the guns features the 'badge' of the three feathers and the Prince of Wales' motto 'Ich dien' (I serve ) as well as the date of the wedding itself. The quality of these guns cannot be denied, it is believed the guns were intended for a petite lady as they were made to be lighter than normal weighing in at 5lb 8ozs. A classic J Purdey shotgun in excellent condition for it's age. This gun features best Purdey bouquet and scroll engraving on an action that still retains much of it's original colour case hardening. It has recently been fitted with new 28" monoblock game barrels and so has as new barrel thickness and bore measurements. The stock is a very nice highly figured example with fine, sharp chequering, teardrop and a gold oval.
