Location,
location,
location!
The cottage is a very
short walk
from the beach at Chuch Bay and only 11 miles from Holyhead, the ferry
port to Ireland. The shoreline is designated as an
area of outstanding natural beauty as you will know the moment you set
foot on the beach. The Isle of Anglesey boasts a coastal walk
that
covers over a hundred miles of breath-taking scenery as good as any you
will see in the British Isles. The Isle is home to a number of nine and
eighteen hole golf courses such as : Anglesey Golf Club,
Holyhead
Golf Club, Bull
Bay Golf Club and a number of others.

Church Bay like many other beach and rock marks on the island can
provide excellent fishing with anything from bass, flatfish, codling,
whiting and dogfish being caught. Fishing advice can be
sought
from Vic who on occasion fishes the beach of an evening, Vic can point
you to local ports that charter boats for fishing also if boat-angling
floats your boat, so to speak. Plenty of information on
Anglesey
sea angling is also available on the internet see: http://www.rhosneigr.org.uk/Activities/SeaFishing.html
and http://www.fishing.visitwales.com/

As mentioned earlier there are
many superb walks to be had and the island is alse very popular for
bird-watching. If you wish to venture off-island there is
also
the Llyn Peninsular and rugged mountain ranges of
Snowdonia
in day-tripping range if you wish.
